How do I make a return ?

Follow the steps to return an iPhone or iPad.

1. Make sure Find My iPhone is turned off

We cannot inspect the phone if the "Find My iPhone" feature is on.

To turn it off, go to Settings -> (Your Name) -> Find -> Find My iPhone. Turn off the feature.

2. Reset your iPhone

Resetting your mobile deletes all information on the phone. NOTE: Make sure to back up your mobile before sending it to us, Refurbly is not responsible for any lost data.

So how do you do? Go to Settings -> General -> (scroll down) Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Erase All Content and Settings.

3. Remove the SIM card

Don't forget to remove the SIM card from your mobile phone before handing it in to us. Use your supplied SIM PIN and be careful not to damage the mobile with the tip of the tool.

4. Fill in the form on the brochure you received in the box

Be sure to fill out the form on the back of the brochure you received in your Refurbly box. Write carefully and clearly to facilitate our handling and for a faster return.

5. Pack the mobile phone well and hand it in to the agent

Pack the product in the supplied Refurbly box and then in well-protected packaging.

Stick the prepaid return slip that you received in the box on the package (valid for 30 days from the time of purchase) and hand the package in to the nearest agent.

6. Control & refund

When we have received your return, we carry out a routine check within 1-3 working days. We make sure it's the right phone, test the functionality and do a visual inspection.

If everything looks good, we will approve your return and notify you by email. You can expect the money back within 1-3 banking days. The money is transferred in the same way you paid.

NOTE. If you have rented a mobile phone and return it after your rental period, there will be no refund, instead we will terminate your subscription and your monthly payment.

Return of Samsung

The location of your settings may differ greatly depending on your device model and operating system. This is a general guide to help you in the right direction.

1. Turn off the anti-theft feature Factory Reset Protection

Open Settings on your device. Look for Accounts or Account Backup and click there.

Select the Delete Account option to delete your Android account. This also removes the Factory Reset Protection.

In some cases, you also have a Samsung account on a Samsung device, which you then remove by repeating the previous step.

2. Turn off screen lock features

The next step is to turn off the screen lock features (fingerprint, face recognition, password and PIN) by going to the following on your Samsung device: Settings > Screen lock and security > Screen lock type. Once there, you do not select a lock .

3. Factory reset the device

You can now perform a factory reset so that your phone can be reused or sold safely. If your mobile does not have encryption as a standard choice, you need to ensure that data, which is below the app level (e.g. SMS and chat messages) becomes inaccessible to the new owner. If so, go to settings and select the option to encrypt your data.

These are some possible paths to factory reset your device:

Newer version:

  • Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset > Reset

Older versions:

  • Settings > Backup & Restore > Factory Reset
  • Settings > Privacy > Factory Reset
  • Settings > About phone > Advanced > Reset > Factory reset > Reset

Frequently asked questions about returns

Does it cost anything to make a return?

There is free return shipping on Refurbly. You will find a prepaid return slip in your package.

When does the right of withdrawal not apply?

The right of withdrawal is valid for 30 days after receiving the mobile phone. If the phone is damaged by moisture, dropped, bent or if any glass part is cracked, it cannot be returned or serviced.

If I changed my mind and want to switch to another mobile phone, how do I do it?

Make a normal return (see the guide further up this page) and place a new order for the mobile phone you want to switch to.

When will I get my money back?

From the time you submit your return to your agent, it can take up to 14 days before we receive the return. You will receive a return confirmation via email as soon as we have received your return.

Card payment/Direct payment:
The refund is made within 1-5 banking days (after receipt of return confirmation) to the same account that was used for the purchase.

SVEA invoice/SVEA Partial payment:
When we have received your return, SVEA will correct your invoice within 1-5 banking days (after receiving return confirmation). Read more about this here. In order for you to be reimbursed, your return needs to be approved. The product must be returned within 30 days. The products must be sent back well packaged and in good condition. In the case of returns, fees for faster delivery or invoice fees are not refunded. Once you have received a return confirmation to your email, the process for your refund starts.
